The sire of Falkland’s dam, Pik Konig, is renowned for producing excellent dressage horses. Falkland himself is also a versatile producer. Falkland has lively temperament with energetic, but always rhythmical basic paces. he is clearly stamped by his sire both in character and appearance. Falkland has a lively temperament with energetic, but always rhythmical basic paces. He is clearly stamped by his sire both in character and appearance. He has excellent rideability, particularly as regards jumping - combination of both tremenduous ability and a faultless manner. Falkland owned by the Celle State Stud was bred by Hans Wisch, Geversdorf and reared by Hunnesrück Stallions Stud. He is particularly well known as a producer of progeny with double feature and far above average talent in dressage and jumping but also throws above average conformation, type and limbs. Since Falkland is throwing big movement, eager temperaments and immortal forwardness his offspring is also eligible for three day eventing and matches well with mares that are lacking nerve or tend to be sleepy and suffer from weakness in condition.
Nevertheless his offspring needs a sensible rider so despite of their being solid in conformation they are working best with lady riders.
