Training at first level.

Linda has been training with Michele for 10 years and riding for 35 years.

Linda says her goals are;

short-term; to learn to properly ride a very large stride without hampering the movement then learn to package and maneuver the stride, and long-term; to show B.M Rohan.

Horses have been her life-long passion and dressage is the perfect avenue for that passion. She wants to ride dressage until the handi-bus from her nursing home won't drive her to the barn!

BM Rohan   Canadian Warmblood

Rohan (age 4)

Rose Grey Canadian Warmblood Gelding, 16.3hh, 8 years old

Born on Monday, April 29 2002 in Okotoks, AB (Breeder - Bri-Mel Farm).

Owner-rider is Linda Plumer.

Rohan is truly a wonder horse. Despite his tough start in life Rohan is proving to be a champion. Rohan has looks, movement with amazing suspension, talent and most of all heart. Rohan's lineage is of some of the best in breeding history. His dam line is from some of Hannoverian's best dressage and jumping horses. His sire, Bri-Mel's Ruhm was a champion F.E.I. dressage horse himself. Rohan's grandsire was an international jumper with numerous winnings and championships to his credit. With this kind of lineage and his personality behind him, Rohan is truly a winner. Keep a look out for this amazing gelding.

Experience:

Rohan had a shaky start; as a yearling he got out of his pen slipped on a patch of ice and was not able to get up, seriously injuring himself trying. When he was found he was so cold he could not move. He was then transported to the heated indoor arena where he stayed confined until he recovered many months later. It wasn't clear whether he would ever walk again, let alone do any serious work. However, time has passed, broken bones and torn muscles have healed, and with his want for life he is proving himself to be an amazing athlete. Rohan showed one show in the fall of 2007, in first level, where he was widely received by many as a breathtaking boy. He finished up in the top half of his classes which makes him a champion in his own field.
